Troubleshooting

Tasks fail straight away, or the site turns them away. The proxy is the usual cause. Check the group’s proxies with Test, make sure they come out in the site’s country, and try a fresh group (Proxies).

A task sits on “Waiting for a free browser”. The group’s Browsers limit is reached: that many tasks already have their browser open. It starts as one of them finishes. Raise the limit, or set it to All, with the Browsers button beside Start All.

“Update to … to run tasks”. A required update is out. Restart Phalanx to install it.

My PC slows down during a drop. Each task runs a browser. Watch the CPU / Memory / GPU meters on the Tasks page, and use the Browsers button to cap how many big groups open at once.

A harvester isn’t solving. Make sure its Enabled Categories include the site, and AI Mode is on. The first run downloads the image model, so give it a minute. You can always solve a captcha in the window yourself.

reCAPTCHA images aren’t solved. Those go to your captcha service. Check under Providers that it’s enabled and has a balance (Captchas).

A task waits for a code that never comes.

  • Check the inbox is on under IMAP and uses an app password.
  • Check the email reached that inbox, including spam.
  • You can always type the code with the mail icon on the task’s row.

Target turns down the email. Use fresh addresses. One that was already turned down is usually turned down again (Target).

My phone won’t connect. Phalanx has to be open and signed in on the PC. If it still won’t, restart Phalanx on the PC and press Try Again on the phone.

Ask in the Phalanx Discord. Say what the task’s row says, and which site and mode it’s on.
