Running Tasks
A task is one checkout attempt: a profile, a proxy and a mode. Tasks live in task groups, one site per group, and every task in a group buys the group’s products.
Make a group
Section titled “Make a group”- On Tasks, press + beside Task Groups. Pick the site and name the group.
- Press Edit Products and add what to buy:
- Monitor Input: the product’s ID or its page’s address
- Product Quantity: how many of it
- Skip If OOS: leave the item out if it’s out of stock, rather than waiting for it
- Quick Edit: paste a whole list, like
SKU, SKU:2, SKU
- Press Add Tasks and choose:
- Mode: see Pokemon Center and Target
- Profile Group and Profile
- Proxy Group: each run picks a proxy from it that no other running task is using
- Start Time (optional): the task starts by itself then
Placeholder in Edit Products lets the tasks get ready and wait, checking out nothing until you untick it. It’s handy for setting up ahead of a drop.
Starting and stopping
Section titled “Starting and stopping”| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Browsers | How many tasks may have a browser open at once (below) |
| Start All | Starts every task in the group |
| Stop All | Stops every task, including those waiting their turn |
| ▶ / ■ on a row | Starts or stops that one task |
Browsers at once
Section titled “Browsers at once”Opening many browsers at once can overload a PC. The Browsers button beside Start All caps how many of the group’s tasks have a browser open at a time. Pick 1, 3, 5, 10 or 20, type a number, or choose All for no limit.
- Start All still starts every task, but only that many open their browsers.
- The rest show Waiting for a free browser and start one by one as others finish.
- The button shows the limit and how many are waiting, for example Browsers: 5 · 35 waiting.
- Changing it while tasks run takes effect straight away.
Reading a task
Section titled “Reading a task”Each row shows the task’s status as it goes, such as Waiting in queue or Waiting for code. The tabs above the list count tasks by stage:
| Tab | Means |
|---|---|
| Running | Working: opening the site, checking stock, signing in |
| In Queue | Waiting in the site’s queue |
| Carted | Has the products in its cart |
| Success | Checked out (or made its account) |
| Failed | Stopped with a reason you can read on the row |
Sort puts the tasks furthest through the queue first. Live Sort keeps them sorted as things change.
On each row
Section titled “On each row”- Eye: shows or hides the task’s browser window
- Mail: types in a code the task is waiting for
- Right-click: edit, duplicate or delete
Right-click a group for Start All, Restart All, Edit Group, Duplicate and more.
