Captchas
When a site asks for a captcha, Phalanx sends it to one of your harvesters, a captcha window of its own. With AI Mode on, the harvester solves it by itself.
Harvesters
Section titled “Harvesters”Open Harvesters and add one:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | For you |
| Enabled Categories | Which sites’ captchas it takes |
| Proxy | The connection its window uses (optional) |
| AI Mode | Solves its captchas by itself |
| Open On Launch | Opens the window when Phalanx starts |
| Open On Demand | Opens the window only when a task needs a captcha |
A harvester shows its status in its window, for example AI: solving. You can always solve a
captcha in the window yourself: just click it like on any website.
AI Mode
Section titled “AI Mode”AI Mode ticks the checkbox and answers the image puzzles:
- hCaptcha puzzles are answered by Phalanx’s own model. New models download by themselves as they’re published.
- reCAPTCHA image puzzles go to your captcha service (below).
If AI Mode isn’t sure about a puzzle, it asks for a new one, up to five times. After that it leaves the puzzle in the window for you.
Captcha services
Section titled “Captcha services”Under Providers, add a captcha service’s API Key. Supported: 2Captcha, CapMonster, CapSolver and Anti-Captcha.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enabled Categories | Which sites’ captchas it takes |
| Max Concurrency | How many captchas it solves at once |
Phalanx uses the first enabled service that has a balance. The Providers page shows each key’s balance.
How many harvesters?
Section titled “How many harvesters?”One AI Mode harvester handles a lot of captchas. Add more for big drops, and spread them over proxies. A harvester with Open On Demand stays closed until it’s needed.
